100% of proceeds go to our charity partners.

Since our first event Gazelle Girl event in 2013, raising funds for our charity partners has been at the center of the our mission and will remain there under the new She Runs Grand Rapids brand. We are incredibly proud of our sponsors, committee members and most importantly our participants for helping to raise over $300,000 for important organizations that are positively impacting women and children and/or inspiring movement in our community. Raising funds for our charity partners will always be part of the mission of She Runs Grand Rapids.

Girls on the Run West Michigan

“Girls on the Run West Michigan has partnered with Gazelle Sports since the inception of our Council in 2004. Each year, the support of Gazelle Sports has provided the opportunity for hundreds of girls to participate in the program, ensuring that girls have appropriate running shoes for strong physical health, along with the other substantial benefits Girls on the Run provides.  We are so proud that due, in large part, to the support from Gazelle Sports, Girls on the Run West Michigan will celebrate impacting the lives of its 25,000th girl this year, allowing that positive impact to reach across all of West Michigan.”

The Gazelle Sports Foundation

“The Gazelle Sports Foundation is reorganizing in 2022 to create a deep impact around youth and family health through fitness and movement. The foundation will be partnering with community organizations with multi-year commitments that can lift capacity and increase stability. We intend to be a catalyst for fitness for those that have been marginalized and not felt safe in this space.”

“The partnership we’ve had over the last ten years with Gazelle Girl, and now with SHE RUNS Grand Rapids, is particularly special to us. It’s as if this community of runners is right there alongside the thousands of domestic and sexual violence survivors who we serve, not on a race course, but on a healing journey.”
