I have not always been a runner. I didn’t start until my early 30s after my baby was over a year old and so was the baby weight. I wanted to do something so I started to run. I ran my first 5k in 2009 and ever since that first finish line I have been hooked. Since this addiction began I have run 7 marathons, 27 Half Marathons, and several 25k, 10k, and 5k races. The best part of running is the people I have met along the way. I have run as a team leader for Gazelle Sports training programs for several seasons and I love helping people do what they believed to be impossible. Running has been an avenue for so much good in my life.
