I have been running since 2015 when I tried run camp for the first time. My goal was to not hate running. After the 12 week session, I became friends with my coach and we continued running together. I then started doing triathlons with Your Turn Women. My coach at that time told me that if I could run 3 miles, I could run 5. I did not think that was true, but tried anyway. When I got to 5 miles, she then told me if I could run 5 miles, I could run a half marathon. I began training for Gazelle Girl at that time. After completing GG, I went on to do a 1/2 ultra and the Kalamazoo Marathon. I am now training for an ultra marathon.
