I discovered I love to run with friends and family. There’s nothing like having no distractions and an open trail of road with some fantastic scenery to open our hearts and our minds to communicate and reconnect on a deeper level. When I train as a pacer, it gives me a higher purpose to do all those workouts I might just feel like slacking on. Knowing that it’s my job to help lead a group knocks that little negative voice right out of my head.
